With many customization options, the Alaris infusion pump system is ideal for use in a variety of settings with adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.
The core PC unit provides a common user interface for programming the infusion and monitoring modules — helping to reduce complexity at the point of care. The detachable elements include a syringe module, a pump module, SpO2 and EtCO2.
Using the Alaris Systems Manager, you can wirelessly upload the latest drug and IV parameters, clinical advisories and important safety enhancements. This helps to ensure that nurses and other caregivers have the most up-to-date information. Using the CQI transfer tool, Guardrails alerts can be downloaded wirelessly through the Alaris®System. This data can be analyzed and used to make changes to the current data set and help improve clinical practice. The Alaris® System was formerly known as the Medley® System.
The Alaris PC Point-of-Care Infusion Pump system is available with a variety of modules for a complete infusion care plan. Browse the available modules and discover which elements are right for your facility.
The Alaris PC Unit provides all of the elements clinicians need to gather, analyze and respond to IV medication data collected at the point of care. The unit comes equipped with wireless data transfer protocols that make it easy for caregivers to sync the Alaris PC Unit with the latest information, helping to ensure everyone has access to up-to-date information.
Use the Alaris Pump Module to continuously or intermittently deliver fluids, medications, blood and blood products. The pump module accepts up to four IV infusion modules for multiple independent infusions on a single PC unit.
Analyze patient conditions quickly with the module’s real-time, numeric readout of actual in-line pressure. The Alaris Syringe Module is compatible with syringe sizes from one to 60 mL, automatically detecting the syringe size for quick setup.
Reduce infusion risks with the module’s innovative features, including a PCA infusion pause protocol if a patient’s respiration falls below customizable EtCO2 or SpO2 limits. The Alaris PCA Module is also available with Guardrails MX error reduction software.
Designed to be in accordance with the American Society of Anesthesiologists recommendations on CO2 monitoring, the Alaris EtCO2 Module is an asset to any practice’s infusion workflow.
Using either Masimo SET or Nellcor technology, the Alaris SpO2 module provides real-time patient oxygen saturation status. It is perfectly suited to help clinical staff detect and manage the risk of respiratory depression during complex or high-dose PCA therapies.
By attaching directly to the Alaris System, the Alaris Auto-ID module simplifies and safeguards all pump, syringe and PCA infusions.
